This explains what information NoEquals Calculator handles and how.

Calculations and history

The expressions you enter, the answers, your history, and your settings are stored only on your device. They are not sent to the developer. Deleting the app deletes them.

Voice input

The microphone is used only when you press the microphone button, or when you start voice input from its widget, Control Center control, Action button, shortcut, or the menu that appears when you touch and hold the app icon. What you say is turned into text by Apple's speech recognition. For languages your device can process on its own, the audio does not leave the device. For other languages, the audio is sent to Apple's servers to be processed. This app does not store the audio, and it is not sent to the developer.

You can withdraw microphone and speech recognition access at any time in the iPhone Settings app.

Advertising

This app shows ads using Google AdMob. To deliver ads and measure how they perform, Google may collect information such as:

・Your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers
・Your IP address and the approximate region it indicates
・Which ads were shown and whether they were tapped
・How the app is used, such as when it is opened, and performance information such as crash logs and launch time

Google handles this information under its own responsibility, not on the developer's behalf. Under the data protection terms between Google and the developer, Google must comply with the data protection laws that apply to it. For how Google handles this information, see Google's page.
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

The app may ask for permission to track your activity across apps so that ads can be tailored to you. The app works the same if you decline. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

In some regions, such as the United Kingdom, the app asks for your consent about ads when you first open it. You can change your choice at any time from "Ad Privacy Settings" in the app's Settings.

Usage statistics (RevenueCat)

To count how many people use the app and how much the ads earn, this app uses a service called RevenueCat. When you open and use the app, RevenueCat receives information such as:

・A random number that RevenueCat creates for the app on your device (it is not your name or your Apple Account)
・A number that Apple gives this developer's apps on your device (the identifier for vendor)
・That the app was opened, and the app's version
・Your device model and iOS version
・Your country or region, your language settings, and your IP address
・Whether you allowed tracking across apps (the advertising identifier itself is not sent)
・Which ads were shown or tapped in the app, and how much they are estimated to earn

RevenueCat keeps this information in the developer's RevenueCat account, one record per device under the random number above. The developer uses it only to see totals, such as how many people use the app each day and the total ad revenue, and to handle requests to delete it (see "Keeping and deleting information" below). RevenueCat is also used by apps to handle purchases, but this app has no purchases, so it is used only for counting.

In regions where Google asks for your consent about ads, such as the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app does not use RevenueCat.

RevenueCat stores this information on servers in the United States. Under RevenueCat's terms, which the developer has agreed to, RevenueCat must take reasonable precautions to protect it and must not use it or give it to others except to provide its service or as those terms otherwise allow. Those terms allow RevenueCat to use it to improve its products, and to share it with others only in aggregate or de-identified form. For more about RevenueCat, see its privacy policy.

What the developer receives

The developer does not receive your name, your email address, your calculations, or your voice.

Through RevenueCat, the developer has the records described in "Usage statistics" above, one per device, and uses them only as described there.

Apart from that, the developer receives only what you choose to send from "Send Feedback" or "Report an Ad" in Settings. Both go through Google Forms, and only what you write reaches the developer. It is used only to improve the app and to deal with the ads you report.

Keeping and deleting information

The records described in "Usage statistics" above are kept only as long as they are needed to count usage and ad revenue, and are deleted after that.

To stop the app from sending this information, delete the app. This also deletes the random number from your device. If you install the app again, a new random number is created.

To ask for records that were already sent to be deleted, please use the form under "Contact" below. The records are not linked to your name or email address, so please include roughly the date you last used the app, your country or region, and your iOS version (you can find it in the iPhone Settings app under General → About). The developer will use these details to look for your records and delete the ones that match.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the date above will be revised.
